SodaBurn Ingredients Explained
Last updated: October 4, 2026
SodaBurn's label has two lines of active ingredients: chromium and a proprietary blend. This page explains both, using the label of the dropper bottle sold through the official order page.
Supplement Facts at a glance
Serving size: 1 ml. Servings per container: 30.
| Ingredient | Amount per 1 ml | % Daily Value |
|---|---|---|
| Calories | 0 | — |
| Chromium (as chromium picolinate) | 7 mcg | 20% |
| Proprietary blend | 15.47 mg | Not established |
Other ingredients: water, natural flavors, potassium sorbate, stevia, xylitol and citrus extract. The label notes that several herbal extracts come from 20:1 concentrates and African mango from a 10:1 concentrate.
Chromium picolinate
Chromium is a trace mineral that helps insulin do its job. The Daily Value is 35 mcg, and SodaBurn provides 7 mcg. Trials looking at weight have used 137 to 1,000 mcg a day and found a small extra loss of around half a kilogram, which researchers consider of doubtful practical importance. Chromium may add to the effect of diabetes medicines and can reduce the absorption of levothyroxine if taken at the same time.
The six headline herbs
African mango seed (Irvingia gabonensis)
Used in West African cooking and marketed for weight management. A few small trials at 300 to 3,150 mg a day suggest modest reductions in weight and waist size, but the evidence is weak.
Green tea leaf
Provides catechins and caffeine. With caffeine, green tea extracts produced an average extra loss of about 1.4 kg over 12 weeks in pooled studies that used hundreds of milligrams of catechins.
Guarana seed
A caffeine-rich seed from the Amazon. Its effects on energy mostly reflect its caffeine.
Maca root
An Andean root studied at 1.5 to 3 g a day for energy and mood. There is no evidence that it affects weight.
Grape seed
A polyphenol extract with small effects on blood lipids and diastolic blood pressure in reviews.
Gymnema sylvestre leaf
Called the sugar destroyer in Ayurveda because it dulls the taste of sweetness. Studies used roughly 200 to 400 mg. It can add to the effect of diabetes medicines.
The rest of the blend
- Coleus forskohlii and cayenne: forskolin and capsaicin are staples of thermogenic products; trials found little or no effect on body weight.
- Panax ginseng, eleuthero and astragalus: adaptogenic roots used for fatigue.
- Raspberry ketones and grapefruit seed: popular in diet products, with very little human research.
- Amino acids: L-carnitine, L-tyrosine, L-arginine, L-glutamine, beta-alanine, L-tryptophan and GABA.
- Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate: a sweetener derived from licorice.
Putting the amounts in perspective
All 21 blend ingredients together weigh 15.47 mg per serving. If they were present in equal parts, each would be under 1 mg. Studies of these ingredients use doses tens to thousands of times higher. The label does not show how the blend is divided, so it is not possible to know which ingredients dominate.
